This Warrior Mind Podcast will discuses the four levels of communication.Warrior Mind Podcast

There are four levels of “communication” that once understood can assist you in relating to the world you are a part of and to others.  The understanding of these levels will greatly assist you with your personal goals and personal success.

  • Physical – Consciousness – Words – Describes (actually creates) a thing, situation
  • Mental – Unconsciousness – Pictures/Symbols – Icon representing
  • Emotional – Higher Consciousness/Self (soul) – Feelings – our internal representation of something
  • Spiritual – Cumulative Consciousness – Energy – The ‘knowingness” of life

The combination of all four is “an experience”

In my complimentary report “7 Powerful Secrets to Creating a Warrior Mindset” I go over in more detail about The 6 mental strengthLaws of Mental Strength and how they affect your personal success.

I’m going to give an overview for those that have not read the report yet…and a review for those that have.

I find it helpful…at least for myself, to go back and review these laws on a regular basis’s.  You see whether you are aware of these laws or not doesn’t matter…they are still at work in your life and have a tremendous effect on achieving your personal goals and reaching peak performance in your area of interest.

These laws are like any other Natural/Universal Law, you can’t see the “law”, but you do see the result of the law…the affect.   Remember, just because you can’t see gravity doesn’t mean it’s not affecting your life.

So here are The 6 Laws of Mental Strength

  1. Thoughts are Things and Energy – This has been proven scientifically.  We have EEG’s, brain probes and other scientific instruments to read the energy in our thoughts.  So think about this…if thoughts are real energy – which they are – what else in nature is real energy?  Electricity, moving objects (kinetic energy), objects resting (potential energy), heat…etc.  All these have energy and with they can be use constructively or destructively – how are you using your thoughts?
  1. The Mind is Like a Radio Station – Sending and Receiving Thoughts All The Time – Just like a 2-way radio can both transmit and receive our mind also sends and receives thoughts.  If you tune you radio to a specific station, let’s say the news.  You’ll receive all the messages about disperse and tragedy.  If however you focus or “tune” to a station that has a bit more uplifting message, that’s what you’ll get.  The key here is you receive what you are tuned into receiving.  The opposite is true as well.  If you are constantly worried about sickness, disease and poverty you will be sending out those messages and someone who is “tuned” to that same station will connect with you.  And you wonder why you’re surrounded by such negative people?  What station are you tuned into?
  1. Thoughts that Thought With Emotion are Magnetized and Attract Like Thoughts – Ever wake up in the morning and stub your toe?  How was the rest of the day?  Not so good right?  This is because as soon as you stubbed your toe your mind was flooded with all sorts of non-supportive thoughts (to having a good day).  One thought lead to another and to another…and so on.   This happen when we get into an argument with someone.  The thoughts we think (during this high energy exchange) attracts all sorts of negative thoughts from the past.  The problem is that we do this with ourselves internally. We can have a thought of “How am I going to pay the bills” If this thought has enough emotion behind it, it will cascade into many, many, many other negative thoughts.  The good news is the opposite is true as well.  Stop for a moment and think of a puppy playing around.  Did a smile come to your face?  Did other “kind and gentle” thoughts follow?  Well unless you don’t like puppies I suspect you did, didn’t you?  So….which thoughts do you want to energize?
  1. You are Always Experiencing Thoughts, You Can Either Accept Them or Dismiss Them – This law is about personal power.  You and only you are the thinker of your thoughts.  You and only you are the receiver of your thoughts. If you don’t like the thought….throw it away.  They are your thought for gosh sakes!   This law is SO crucial for personal success…this law is about taking responsibility for your thoughts, actions and results…after all thoughts are real energy right?
  1. You Have the Power and Ability to Think any Thought You Want  – This law dovetails  right into the preceding law.  If you don’t like the thoughts you are thinking…think different ones.  You are the thinker of the thought…you are the dreamer of the dream.  Make it a magnificent one!  As the last two lines in the poem Invictus say “I am the master of my fate:  I am the captain of my soul.”
  1. The Inner-World and Outer-World are Connected and You Live in Both at The Same Time – We have the Inner world of thoughts, emotions, beliefs and values, judgments  and the Outer world of circumstances, effects, results.  Our Inner world absolutely affects our Outer world …thoughts are real energy.  And we know that our Outer world affects out Inner world.  We all have experienced some news over the past month that created an undesirable emotion and feeling within us.  We you think about achieving personal success on the Inner world and think it with emotion…we get success in the Outer world.  When we get personal success in the Outer world we think and feel success in the Inner world.

So now you have a basic understanding of the fundamental mental strength laws…how are you going to use them?

Contemplation:

I’d like to give a few contemplation exercises for this week.  Contemplation is when you sit and think about a single thought and it’s implication to your life.  You take one single idea and look at it for every angle, turn it around, upside down…you take this thought and deeply think about it’s implication on your life.

I would suggest as a personal goal to one of these thoughts per day and spend at least 3 times a day for minutes of 5 minuets sitting in contemplation.

  • I have a remarkable instrument of power (your mind) that is changing my life now that I’m learning how to use it.
  • My personal vibration determines the conditions and situations that happen to me and my beliefs create my personal vibration.
  • My power to think thoughts is my power to create my life & I have the power to think whatever thought I choose.

By taking time contemplate the above ideas you will start a new way of thinking. And when you think differently, you act differently…and when you act differently you get different results.  And you do want different results don’t you?

If this post a created a sense of empowerment, hope and anticipation to create your personal success and a more empowering way to live, pick up a copy of “Develop the Mental Strength of Warrior.” It goes into much more detail with exercises and tips on how you can control your thoughts…hence your life.

Much of my education on mental strength comes from many sources including NLP, 9 Gates Mystery School, John Kehoe, Science of Mind, Book of 5 Rings and numerous other areas. The interesting thing about “personal development” is that much of the material has been covered over and over, just put into different “packages.” I hope that my repackaging will aid you.

Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Achieving peak personal performance and personal success begins with a mental strength mindset and empowering mental strengthbeliefs.  Personal success starts in the mind and finishes with peak performance…taking massive action.

This is one in a series of mental strength tips to help start your week of strong so that you can reach you peak performance, personal success by enhancing your personal development.

I take one subject and run though a brief overview of it, then ask some very direct questions.  The intention of these ‘sessions’ is for you to write the questions in a success journal reflect on them and answer them.

This series of posts is for YOU!  If I’m not able to coach you personally one-on-one, I want you to at least get the benefit of “virtual” coaching.

Objective of this Mental Strength Tip:

To encourage you to suspend and to put on hold, your disbeliefs and doubts around the ideas, thoughts and philosophies that have and will be presenting in these virtual sessions.

Let’s Get Started:

I’d like to think about how tightly at times you hold on to old beliefs like a drowning man holds on to a life preserver. We are sometimes so afraid of letting go for fear of “drowning.”  When often by letting go we can swim to a ship that will take us to exactly where we want to go.

The cool thing about beliefs is you can try them on…like a suit or jacket.  If, after awhile, it doesn’t fit you can put it back.  This type of mental strength approach to open mindedness is spirit-based consciousness.  By being open and aware that there are new and different beliefs that can possibly change your entire life is the start of peak personal performance and personal success.

The thoughts and ideas that I have been expressing…and will continue to express are based in solid research and personal experience.  I’m only asking you to “play” for a bit with them.

Questions to Uncover Beliefs about Mental Strength Thinking:

  • Do you consider yourself to open-minded?
  • Are you more ego driven or spirit driven?
  • Are you willing to consider new ideas that have produced peak performance results?

Unsupportive Beliefs about Open Mindedness

  • I know what I know.  I’m not looking for new ways of thinking
  • I already know what to do; it’s just a matter of doing it
  • I’m already an educated person; I don’t need help

Mental Strength Beliefs about Open Mindedness

  • I’m always open to new ideas that move me closer to my vision of personal success.
  • I’ll listen to anyone who can show me a better way of doing things.
  • I always check my ego at the door.  I don’t care who gets the credit.  All I desire is the result.

Outrageous Questions:

  • Has ego-based thinking hurt you in the past?
  • How has open minded thinking helped you in the past?
  • What’s more important: achieving your vision of personal success or feeding your ego?

Reflective Questions:

  • Do you think it would help you to consider the ideas of other successful people?
  • Is it possible someone has found a better way to get the results you want?
  • How can I help you put what you know aside for a while and consider new ideas that have the potential to help you reach peak personal performance?

Mental Strength Coaching:

What I’m attempting to accomplish here is to encourage you to open your mind for the sake of getting the results you want faster and more efficiently. Once you’re accomplished this, please go back to the previous posts, read them and consider them as new ways of thinking. Remember the beliefs you have a probably as old as you are.  They’ve been re-stated, corroborated and reinforced for decades. Breaking limiting beliefs down can takes time, but with persistence and the help of mental strength coaching, NLP, Time Empowerment® and even hypnosis the change can be easy and life lasting.

Final Thought

Again, think of this session as a suggestion to try on a new jacket.  When you’re presented with a new idea, no matter how small or radical, ask yourself, “I wonder how trying this idea on will help me reach my peak performance? Without an open mind it’s difficult to increase your level of conscious awareness.  Without an open mind you’re doomed to relive all your old beliefs that have been programmed into your mind and get the same results you’re currently dissatisfied with.

If you’d like to get started on developing radical mental strength for personal development, peak personal performance or personal success request your Introductory Consultation.

Also, “Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior” is a fantastic e-book that helps you develop awareness, consciousness and mental strength with a step-by-step plan.

OK…now it’s your turn!  Let me know about your thoughts on this subject in the comments below.

When we have a thought…a thought that is charged with emotions two things happen….the thinker thinks, the provermental strength proves.

Sounds kind of schizophrenic doesn’t it?

I’m we have two ‘selves’ that come along with a thought.

What the thinker thinks, the prover proves. The human mind can be viewed as having two main functions: a thinker and a prover. The thinker can think anything. The prover has no such choice: whatever the thinker thinks, the prover arranges all incoming information to prove that thought to be true.

No matter what it is!

So if we look at beliefs that are thoughts that are strongly held as true we can say that what the thinker believes, the prover proves.

If a person believes they are stupid, their prover will sort and filter all incoming data to prove that belief to be true. If they believe they are clever, the prover will sort and filter incoming data to prove that belief true. If you believe you will always be poor, that life is unfair, and that people are basically rotten, your prover will find evidence of those beliefs. If you believe that that you can become fantastically wealthy and achieve personal success, that life is a wonderful adventure, and that people are intrinsically good, your prover will create an iron clad case to prove those beliefs to be correct.

Of course, over time, the external reality of your life comes into line with whatever you’ve been thinking and believing. So if you’re unsure about what you believe, there’s an easy way to find out: have a look around! Your external circumstances are the physical manifestation of your beliefs.

You might even like to ask yourself what beliefs it would be useful for you to have. What the thinker thinks, the prover proves.

If you’d like some assistance with developing the mental strength to change what the thinker thinks (and believes) request an Introductory Consultation, or pick up a copy of “Develop the Mental Strength of a Warrior.”  Either one will help you take control of your thoughts and beliefs. Then you’ll be able to reach your peak personal performance and personal success.

Let me hear from you about this subject in the comments below.

I was inspired by two e-mails I read this morning and how one supports the other.  The first is from Science of Mind.  Ernest Holmes wrote Science of Mind in 1926 and it’s a great book about mental strength, personal success, health and connecting with God.  If you don’t like the word God…too bad…use what ever you like so that you’ll get this message.

Here’s the note from Science of Mind.

Faith and Prayer

Ernest Holmes

“Why is it that one person’s prayers are answered while another’s remain unanswered? It cannot be because God is a respecter of persons or has greater consideration for one than for another. It must be that all persons receive results, not because of what they believe, but in spite of peculiarities of their belief. It must be the way of their belief that makes the difference.

Faith is not a dogma, a creed, or a statement of being. It is a certain mental approach to Reality. It is an affirmative approach as opposed to a negative one. It is agreement as opposed to denial….Prayer, faith, and belief are mental attitudes. It is written that “faith shall heal the sick and God shall raise him up.” This implies a human act followed by an act of God. It also implies that without such a human act, the act of God will not follow. The act of God follows our faith in God.

Prayer leads one to a place of mental acceptance, but prayer without faith is ineffectual. Faith elevates the prayer to conviction and acceptance. Where does God come in? God already is in and does not have to come from anywhere to anywhere. God is the entire process, both in our thought as individuals and in the universal as answering our individual thought. The prayer of faith makes it possible for the law to respond and do the thing desired. “ – Excerpted from Can We Talk to God? by Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind Publishing.

The second e-mail was from Jamie Smart, and NLP aficionado from the UK.  This e-mail was about happiness:

Today is Practice for Tomorrow

Jamie Smart

“Today is practice for tomorrow. People like what’s familiar, remember? Whatever you’re doing today is becoming more familiar, so if you want to go somewhere new in your life, you need to start getting familiar with that.

Is what you’re practicing today about where you’ve been, or where you want to be? Practice feeling how you’ll feel and doing what you’ll do when you get where you’re going. Today is practice for tomorrow”

Do you remember the movie “Groundhog Day?”  Bill Murray was stuck repeating the same day over and over…his goal though was to meet this beautiful young lady.  He realized that he was “stuck” and unless he did something different he would never meet her.

So everyday he did something different, until finally he meet’s her.  Here check out this scene:

[hdplay id=3 hdplay width=400 height=400 ]

So, what’s my point….well if pray, meditate, set affirmation like we’ve done in the past, we just reliving the past. If however, we pray, belief and have faith that is different from yesterday and do this again and again.  Well, perhaps our prayer will be answered and we’ll meet up with our potential.

I love entrepreneurship!  It’s what the American Dream is all about…doing what you love!mental strength

But I’ve been noticing more and more seminars, teleclasses, products etc that are promoting the best, fastest, easiest way to _____ you fill in the blank.

During these current perceived challenging economic times, these types of offers attract a lot of attention and most likely the individuals selling these programs are doing very well.

My frustration comes from the fact ALL these programs only look at behavior and not what’s behind the behavior.  If you look at this from a scientific and metaphysical perspective these type of programs…in general, will work for a VERY small percentage.

The reason is they are not addressing the mindset of the person who is purchasing the product. Everything and I mean everything starts with thoughts, well actually beliefs.  If the beliefs are not changed it doesn’t matter what the person does, they will still get the same results.

Listen; if you suck at painting, giving you a different brush isn’t going to change anything.  The reason these offerings are so compelling is the unconsciousness mind doesn’t want to change…it likes things just the way they are.  So, but not having to do any DEEP personal development work and simply following some instructions, well…this is the “simple” way to personal success (however you define that) and attractive to the ego.

Hey, don’t get me wrong, I all in favor of simple and easy, after all isn’t it simple and easy to grow vegetables?  All you have to do is plant some seeds, water and viola!  You have vegetables.    The tough part is preparing the ground.  You have dig up the weeds, rototill the soil, and use fertilizer.  Then after the seeds have been planted you still have to tend to the weeds, animals etc. that will destroy the crop…that’s a LOT of work.

The same is with these “easy” programs for fat loss, enlightenment, wealth and even relationships.  If you don’t attend to your personal soil and dig up the weeds, rotoill the ground and place good fertilizer in your mind, all you’re going to get is the same batch of weeds and crap!

I go into this a bit more in “Why People Fail

So before you purchase the next best thing to “make you social marketing expert” a dude or chick magnet, or wealthy like Donald Trump, get with a coach, preferably a mental strength coach, but get with a GOOD coach, NLP Practitioner, Time Empowerment ™, Hypnotists…a qualified “gardener of the mind” that will help prepare your ‘soil’ for the seeds you’re about to plant.

If you don’t know where to look here’s some sites that can help:

Find a coach with International Coach Federation

Find a NLP Practitioner, Time Empowerment ™, hypnotists with The Association of Integrative Psychology

Trust me, after working with hundreds of clients the biggest change in their lives came AFTER they cleaned up the internal garden.

I’d like to hear from you and your thoughts in the comments below
