I recently read an interesting article.  It highlighted how business executives are not only concerned about inflation way of wealththat is eroding their wealth, but also they’re uncertain as to what steps to take to preserve it.  The survey was based on interviews with 200 executives with income raging from $75,000 to $300,000 a year in six cities.  56% of the executives said they did not expect a higher standard of living in the future.

Now if people in the $75,000 to $300,000 category are worried about their finances, how much more do think the average person and family are worried about finances?

Could it be that they’re quiet desperation and inner turmoil is being manifested a shattered family life, a greater number of divorces, an alarming trend in white-collar crime, and needless disease in mind and body?

It would tough to argue against this.

The gut wrenching feeling of lack and limitation can blow peace of mind and harmony right out of the water, and can bring on more discord and discontent than almost any other race-mind condition.  It destroys families, cities and nations and until we realize that abundance is our marvelous right and inheritance, we will continue to live in poverty, lack and want and in a state lacking self-empowerment.

Of course, money itself will not necessarily make a person happy, but having a prosperity consciousness will bring joy, confidence, contentment, peace, joy and freedom from the fear of lack, in addition to money itself.

So, money without the “right” consciousness is not our objective.  What we want is an awakened understanding that the Universe is our all-sufficiency of supply in all things.  Thus, money becomes a spiritual experience and expression when we work with this principle and then exceed our human potential.

It is interesting that those who have evolved in consciousness to where they can truly be called an Awakened Warrior have little concern for demonstrating abundance.  The reason is, they have exceeded their human potential and have acknowledge that they are the boundless wealth of the Universe in the expression of human form – they know that they are part of the One Mind and that this Mind is the inexhaustible resource of all things.

The result of this acknowledgement: They have self-empowerment and they attract all good things to them in overflowing measure and continually experience the joy of abundant living.  They let their minds speak for them, and each individual consciousness makes its own particular demand on the Universal treasure trove.

How rich can you be?

As rich as you think you can be and as wealthy as your level of consciousness.!

However, most people are content and “just getting by” – and if that is as far as their consciousness can expand, then so be it.  They have made that choice.

Know that you can achieve total freedom financial and independence if you choose it and work to raise your level of consciousness to contain that level of abundance.

When we realize the presence of Universal Abundance within us and that this is an Awakened experience, and out of this Spiritual Consciousness everything that we can desire can be manifest, we have become an Awakened Warrior.

To help with this transformation below are 7 steps to begin the process of demonstrating abundance in your life.

  1. Identify with your Devine-self. Meditate daily on your unlimited substance.
  1. Claim and accept your good.  Decide and choose what you want.
  1. Build a mental equivalent. Affirm and know your good.
  1. Lift up your vision. Visualize the fulfillment of your good.
  1. Release the picture.  Know that Universal mind is doing the work for you.
  1. Be thankful.  Have a gratefully mindset as if your good is already here.
  1. Live your demonstration.  Act as if and on any ideas that come to you.

Based on my research, it seems that “acting as if” may be the most difficult, so let’s spend a few minutes on the space program.  First of all, you must capture the feeling you would have if your desires were fulfilled right now. Then go about your day with that joyful, thankful attitude.

Don’t judge by appearances.

Don’t worry about how things seen.  Let your actions be based on the truth that you are part of the Abundant Universe therefore, there is nothing missing in your life.  You are complete!

So act the part.

Acting is not pretending.  Act means to do, function, execute, operate, move, press on, put forth, commit yourself.  Let your actions be based on the knowledge of whom and what you really are.

Regardless of the kind of job you have, begin immediately to do more than has been expected of you.  Make a list of everything that needs to be done and tackled each project with enthusiasm, knowing that the more you do today, the more time you will have for something new and exciting that is coming your way tomorrow.  Then do the same thing tomorrow.

Be open and receptive to you inner-voice speaking to you through your intuition.  If you feel an urge to call someone, write a letter, or make a visit-do so.  You never know just how, when or where your inner self is going to manifest as your abundance, so these hunches may be the first link in a chain reaction that will pay off in handsome dividends.

A new money-making idea may also pop into your mind, immediately write down every detail.  As you do, and you’ll find the way and the means to develop and execute the idea flowing through your mind as you write.  Then move take action on the idea.  Don’t be concerned this flash of inspiration is the only channel for your good.

Stay open!

You’ll be amazed at the offers of assistance from strangers; the idea is given to you by friends and coworkers, the check in the mail you can expect, a new opportunity with a compensation package that you would have considered unbelievable before you started your prosperity program.  It is all an essential part of the activities of the great Law of abundance.

Objective of this Mental Strength Tip:

To help you understand what the accumulation of massive wealth will and will not do for you. This tip will help you make the distinction between success, fulfillment and happiness.  I want to help you comprehend that if you’re not happy without wealth, you won’t be happy with it, and the having money simply makes you more comfortable.

Let’s Get Started:

Remember that nothing among the average population is more misunderstood than money. Most average people believe money is the magical solution to all their problems.

My job here, as you virtual mental strength and life coach, is to help you understand the limits of money without destroying your desire to acquire it.

You need to understand that money is extremely important, but has very little to do with happiness.  Studies have shown that once a person adjusts to their new-found wealth, they quickly revert back to their previous level of happiness and fulfilment, no matter how bad it was.

Questions to Uncover Beliefs about Mental Strength Thinking and Money:

  • What role does money play in your current level of happiness?
  • If you doubled your net worth, would it impact your level of happiness?
  • What would you do with your life it you ten millions dollars in the lottery today?

Unsupportive Beliefs about Money

  • Money is the root of all evil.
  • Rich people got that way by taking advantage of people.
  • Rich people are greedy and ruthless.
  • Money doesn’t grow on trees.

Mental Strength Beliefs about Money

  • Rich people have total control over how they spend their time.
  • Great wealth comes from big ideas
  • Money has little do with happiness
  • Rich people can help and support others and charities.

Outrageous Questions:

  • Do your results demonstrate you understand money and how it works?
  • Are you expecting money to make you happier?
  • Are you efforts congruent with the wealth you desire to accumulate?

Reflective Questions:

  • Do you believe it’s possible to double your income in the next year?
  • If you doubled your income, how do you believe it would affect your feelings of personal success, fulfillment and happiness?
  • What do you believe is holding you back from earning more money?

Mental Strength Coaching:

Remember the most people would love to earn more money but are unaware of how to do it, because they’ve been conditioned though formal education, parents, society to think in confined and linear terms.

My job here is to help you believe it’s possible to become wealthy (in monetary terms) and at the same time help you realize that becoming wealthier won’t make you happier, just more comfortable.

I strongly encourage to work towards creating wealth with a full understanding of what money will and will not do for you.

Final Thought

Great persistence and patience is required around creating mental strength thinking around money and wealth due to the years of “average thinking” programming.

Look for as many real world examples to chip away at your limiting beliefs and thinking around the creation of wealth,

In last weeks post (Part I) I gave an overview of The Four Questions of Motivation, the Self-determination theory motivation(“SDT”) and how they can affect your personal success and reaching your personal goals.

Again, so far we’ve been talking about the “why” of motivation — looking for the reasons behind the goal, while ignoring what the goal itself is. We could call the goal itself the “what” of motivation – the “X” that we pursue, for whatever reason.

This week I’m going to go over…

The “What” of Motivation – And Why it Matters

Some people pursue love, others money; some people want a new television, others want to finish the novel they are reading; some people want to take up jogging, others want to quit smoking; some people pursue success, others try to avoid failure.

SDT research in the 1990s began to discuss the “what” question, by distinguishing between two different types of values or goals: “extrinsic” and “intrinsic.”

I used these same terms when talking about motivation in general, but they can also apply to the “what,” to the target goal itself. Extrinsic goals are those that are done for some “external” reason. Extrinsic goals include trying to enhance our physical appearance, trying to gain status or become more well-known, and trying to acquire money and luxuries.

By contrast, intrinsic goals include trying to enhance intimate relationships, trying to serve groups or communities beyond the self, and trying to grow and develop as a person.

Extrinsic personal goals may sound “shallow,” like something you don’t really do — but let’s face it, everybody is susceptible to the lure of luxury, personal success, the pull of power, and the appeal of appearance!

These goals certainly have their place, but it seems they should not predominate within the motivational system, or else the person may experience problems. Research conducted by psychologist Tim Kasser and his colleagues shows that focusing too much on extrinsic goals (relative to intrinsic goals) is negatively associated with well-being, happiness, and adjustment (Kasser, T. (2002). “The high price of materialism”. Cambridge, MA: MIT Press.) As the sayings go, “money can’t buy you love,” “beauty is only skin deep,” and “fame ain’t what it’s cracked up to be.”

Studies also show that merely framing tasks in intrinsic versus extrinsic terms has effects on peoples’ performance and mood. For example, in three experiments, Maarten Vansteenkiste (a prominent young Belgian researcher) and his colleagues showed that framing information about recycling, business communication styles, or a fitness activity in intrinsic terms (“this will help the environment, your personal development, your health”) versus extrinsic terms (“this will help you save money, help you get a high-paying job, help you look better”) made a difference.( Vansteenkiste, M., Simons, J., Lens, W., Sheldon, K.M., & Deci, E. (2004).

Motivating processing, performance, and persistence: The synergistic role of intrinsic goal content and autonomy-supportive context. Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, 87, 246-260.)

Participants randomly assigned to do the requested activity with the intrinsic frame had greater learning/understanding, better performance/ achievement, and greater persistence/follow-through, compared to performing the activity with the extrinsic frame — in part because the intrinsic frame produced more internalized motivation for doing the activity.

The implications for motivating others and ourselves was clear – whenever some course of action is being suggested, try to frame it in intrinsic and not in extrinsic terms.

For example, a team-leader, might frame the team’s goal as to “grow as a team,” not to “boost the bottom line.” A sports coach might frame a skater’s goal as “giving your best performance yet at the Nationals,” not “winning a medal at Nationals.”

Extrinsic versus Intrinsic Framing Examples

  • Extrinsic
    • Do well to impress my boss at work
  • Intrinsic
    • Do well to earn more responsibility at work

  • Extrinsic
    • Earn more to boost my status
  • Intrinsic
    • Earn more to take the kids on vacation

  • Extrinsic
    • Increase time on the treadmill to look
  • Intrinsic
    • Increase time on the treadmill to more attractive improve my health

  • Extrinsic
    • Go green to save money
  • Intrinsic
    • Go green to help the planet

Summary:

  • Self-Determination Theory (SDT) and its supporting research talk about both the “why” and the “what” of motivation. SDT works hand in glove with positive theory of motivation, because it emphasizes intrinsic motivation and peoples’ natural growth processes.
  • SDT is not mindlessly positive, because it also emphasizes the difficulty of internalizing one’s actions in a world that does not always support free choice and self-expression.
  • According to the SDT research, it is ideal to pursue “intrinsic” goals about growth, intimacy, and community more so than “extrinsic” goals such as money, fame, and beauty, and, to pursue these goals with intrinsic or at least identified motivation, more so than external or introjected motivation.
  • When participating in goal setting for self or others it’s also best to frame the goals in intrinsic terms (this will help your health/development/the environment), and to emphasize internalized reasons for doing them (this is enjoyable and/or important).

OK…I hope you find this topic as fascinating as I do and see how the different types of motivation will affect your level of personal success.

I’ve given many workshops on Shamanism and I item I like to include is the chakra system, especially as they relate to Personal growthpersonal success, wealth and money.

I’d like to share my notes on chakras from my workshop.  Most of them are fairly easy to understand.  If some seem confusing….just use your mental strength and you’ll be able to figure them out :-)

I believe that when we work with our spiritual and energy bodies this has a direct affect on our physical body and physical reality.

By embracing our personal power and work with these bodies we will experience tremendous personal growth.

Enjoy the info…

The Chakras

Chakra is the Sanskrit word for ‘Wheel’, or ‘Vortex’, and refers to each of the seven energy centers that compose our consciousness; our energy system. The first written references we have for this concept were given to us by the ancient Hindu writings, although the concepts of energy centers and circuits in the physical body are repeated with slight variation in nearly every religion and spiritual belief system throughout recorded time.

The concept of the halo as depicted in paintings throughout history is a strong reference to the manifestation of a completely open and functioning seventh chakra. The chakras function as regulators for the flow of energy through and around us. They are not physical. They are aspects of our consciousness and are denser than auras which are, in fact, manifestations of the colors of our open and functioning chakras but they are not as dense as the physical body.

All of your senses, all of your perceptions, all of your possible states of awareness, everything it is possible for you to experience, can be divided into nine categories. Each category can be associated with a particular chakra. Thus, the chakras represent not only particular parts of your physical body, but also particular parts of your consciousness.

The Eastern traditions recognize seven chakras as they relate to and interact with your body’s system. The Western Earthkeepers recognize nine chakras in total that include everything that your awakened consciousness can experience. There is an eighth one, which is like a radiant sun located above the head, outside the physical body but within your personal luminous energy field. We call this eighth chakra the “soul”. The ninth chakra is high above it, existing outside of time in the center of the cosmos, and connecting us with all of life. The ninth chakra is Spirit. There are additional Ancient Solfeggio frequencies that line up with and tune these two Chakras (174Hz for the eighth chakra and 285Hz for the ninth chakra bringing all chakras in a full circle from Earth to Spirit and back to Earth connecting the two as one).

Each chakra is a vortex of swirling energy and light emitting from a line centrally placed in our body and extending a few inches outside of our body, spinning clockwise from the vortex and rotating clockwise 360 degrees around our body to create our Luminous Energy Field (LEF). The point of each vortex connects to our spine and to our endocrine glands.

1. The Root Chakra (Muladhara) – located at the base of the spine and opens out between the anus and the scrotum in men or the vaginal opening in women. It connects us to Gaia, our Mother Earth. It’s where our primitive instincts are energetically located. This chakra is highly important to keep clear. This is our connection, our grounding line, our cord to our mother. This is where our primal survival and fear instincts are located. When this energy center is clear and grounded we let go of the fear of scarcity and become more open to the abundance that surrounds us throughout nature. Color vibration – red

2. The Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – located 4 fingers below the navel. It is the seat of our passions. This is where all of our feelings and emotions live energetically. Our self-esteem and sense of how we are loved and unloved also reside here. Our anger clogs this chakra. When we clear it, we open ourselves up to endless creativity and romantic intimacy. Color vibration – orange

3. The Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – located just below the opening of the chest cavity. This is where the body’s physical energy level is located. Clearing this chakra allows us to have high levels of physical energy, have good relationships with others, and be clear about how we express ourselves. Color vibration – yellow

4. The Heart Chakra (Anahata) – located at the center of the chest and is associated with the heart. This is where we experience Love, compassion, unconditionality, and non-judgment for all people and creatures, for mountains, for stars, for deserts, and for oceans. Everything! The heart chakra is the central point in our physical energy system. It is where our Earthly and Cosmic energies meet and are centered. When we clear this chakra, we rid ourselves of egotism and open ourselves up to the greatest capacity for intimacy and Love. Color vibration – green

5. The Throat Chakra (Visudha) – located at the base of the throat. This is our center for communication, ideas, and psychic energy. When this area is clogged, we fixate on our own group or tribe and our own personal opinions and ideas. When it is cleansed we recognize our connection to others, become better communicators, and are open to gaining wisdom by listening to people even when we may not agree with them. Color vibration – sky blue

6. The Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – located in the middle of the forehead. This is where our awareness, insight, vision, intuition, and focus are located. When this chakra is not clear our awareness and focus become clouded. We can become spiritually arrogant, knowing facts about the sacred, but not practicing them. Color vibration – indigo or purple

7. The Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – located at the very top of the head. This is our doorway to the heavens, connecting us to the stars. This is where our understanding, our bliss, our cosmic consciousness, our enlightenment and divine purpose reside. Clearing this chakra allows us to experience time as non-linear and break free from the laws of cause and effect. When the seventh chakra is clogged we mistakenly believe that we’ve achieved enlightenment, not realizing that we have further to go before reaching that egoless state. Color vibration – violet and white

8. The Soul Chakra (Vyapini) – located a few inches above the top of our heads. This is where we experience a union with all of creation and its Creator. When this energy center is clogged we find ourselves caught between Spirit and matter, feeling dissociated and disconnected from all. This chakra corresponds to the soul. Etched in its walls are the imprints of trauma that we bring with us from one lifetime to another, and these helped select the parents we are born through. These imprints predispose us to living, learning, aging, and dying in particular ways. When it is clear we forgive our pasts and transcend through to Spirit. Color vibration – gold like a radiant sun

9. The Spirit Chakra (Vyomanga) – located in the heart of the Universe outside of time and space and is always crystalline and pure. This is where we can experience the magnificent expanse of creation. This is where we reside within God. To reach this area, we ascend the silver cord of light that rises up from the eighth chakra. It is Spirit. There is only one ninth chakra, for there is only one of us in Spirit. It is the all and the infinite, the one that we are. Color vibration – translucent white light.

Correlation between False Core Beliefs, Negating Money Beliefs and Charkas

Use the statement: “I feel (depressed, saddened, frustrated, angry, etc) because…” (finish with the italic below and sense how it feels.  If it produces a negative response look at the correlating chakra.

Exercise to Balance/Clean Chakras:

In the morning while taking a shower take the left hand and place it at the back/base of the spine.  Then take the right hand, starting with the 1st chakra spin it counterclockwise 3 times, wash hands then proceed to the 2nd, wash hands, the 3rd repeating all the way to the 7th chakra.  The back the 1st chakra (with left had still at base of spine) spin the 1st chakra clockwise three times (with the right hand), wash hands and repeat all the way to the 7th chakra.

How to Clear the Chakras

There are a number of effective ways to clear the chakras. Each one is very helpful. I will list one of my favorite ways, from Alberto Villoldo’s book “The Four Insights”, but I suggest that you play with several different methods and use the one that resonates with you the most.

Begin by finding a quiet spot. You may sit in a meditative position for this exercise or you may also do this lying comfortably in your bed. Close your eyes and take a few deep, focused breaths. Let your thoughts float out in front of you, paying no attention to them, as you continue to inhale and exhale deeply.

Bring your hands together in the prayer position in front of your chest, with your fingertips touching. Rest your hands against your chest as you maintain this pose. Inhale deeply… and exhale. Inhale… and exhale. Breath deeply several times.

Separate your hands, shake them vigorously, and then return them to the prayer pose. Notice the feeling of energy coursing between your fingertips – then separate your hands very slowly, maintaining this feeling. With your eyes closed, try to see if you can perceive the threads of light between your fingertips, creating a sensation of tingling or warmth.

Move your right hand over your root chakra, to its wide mouth two inches away from your skin, Feel its energy as it spins and rotates clockwise. Now begin “unwinding” the chakra by slowly spinning your hand counter-clockwise ten times, imagining your body as the face of the clock and your fingers as the hands. Explore the inside of this vortex of light with your fingertips, sensing its energy and noting whether it is cool or warm, tingly or sludgy. Feel the stream of toxic energy flowing out of your chakra and down in the center of the earth as you “back-wash” this chakra sending its used up energy down into the earth so She can transmute it back into new fresh energy and light. Now return your root chakra to its normal direction of spin and rotation by slowly turning your hand clockwise ten times.

Because every chakra is associated with particular feelings, as you cleanse each one you may notice that certain emotions or memories arise spontaneously. Allow these sensations to wash through you and down into the earth without analyzing them. You’re doing this work at the level of Spirit so do not distract yourself with these feelings. Allow these sensations to pass through you like a soft breeze and down into Gaia. They will subside on their own after you’ve taken a few deep breaths. (Please note that you may not feel any sensations as you do this practice. If this is the case, don’t worry – the exercise is effective and powerful, whether you experience any feelings or not.)

Repeat this unwinding action with each of the first seven chakras to cleanse them of any psychic debris, and then be sure to wind them clockwise again. After you’ve cleansed the seventh chakra imagine that you are hovering a few inches above your physical body. After a few minutes cross your hands over your heart chakra and take three deep breaths. Fully inhabit your physical body. Shake your hands gently and vigorously and knead them together. Rub your face with your hands and open your eyes.

Intermediate level: After you’ve done this exercise a few times and can sense your luminous self floating above your physical body, direct your awareness into your eighth chakra. Allow your consciousness to inhabit this space where the divine resides within you. Explore the vastness of this domain and try to remember what you were before you were born and what you will be after you die. Remember that this chakra exists outside of time, and here you can recall events that occurred in the past and the future.

Advanced level: After you master the intermediate technique, perform the exercise again; only this time direct your awareness into your ninth chakra. Experience yourself dissolving and becoming one with Spirit and with the vast expanse of creation. We call this center a chakra for lack of a better name. In reality, it’s the dwelling place of Spirit, which is everywhere and is everything, in the manifest and unmanifest creation.

Work and play with these methods regularly. You will find your body, mind, and spirit to feel clear and your awareness is heightened greatly by clearing your chakras. I also strongly encourage you to incorporate my Solfeggio Frequency recordings into your sessions to help you clear the chakras and to help you reach deeper states of awareness and meditation.

Please let me know your thoughts abut this post and if you’d like to me put this together into a usable program (with audio and video).

Keep your thoughts focused on what you want in your life, not on what you don’t want.

We’ve just recently started to discover the internal workings of the mind; however we have long known the results of our thoughts. Whenever you focus on not missing a target as opposed to on hitting it, the outcome in many cases is miserable, for it is impossible to think negative thoughts in a positive way.

Ask any golfer who’s attempted not to miss a putt or a bowler who’s struggled not to miss a strike. Make certain your goals are specific and exact. “Making a lot of money” or “earning regular promotions” are wishes, not goals. State exactly how much money you expect to earn and when, and the specific promotion you want, how you plan to earn it, and when you expect to do so.

As Carlson Companies Chairman Curt Carlson once noted, “Obstacles are those frightening things you see when you take your eye off the target.”

If you’re target is wealth, are you focused on creating wealth…or are you focusing on not going broke?  You can only hold one thought.  Here’s what Dr.  Napoleon Hill has to say about “wealth creates wealth”

“Wealth creates wealth. A large sum of money in the hands of one man generally does not create as much wealth as does money which circulates, provided that those who handle its circulation are interested in creating wealth.

A man’s happiness and peace of mind depend on his sharing all kinds of wealth. Business relations cannot properly be described as a relationship of love between buyer and seller; yet when the idea of service to one’s fellow men comes into the relationship, much that is profitable to both parties also enters in. “A little bit of myself,” said Henry Ford, “goes into every automobile that rolls off our assembly lines, and I think of every automobile we sell, not in terms of the profit it yields us, but in terms of the useful service it may render the purchaser.” Thomas A. Edison said: “I never perfected an invention that I did not think about in terms of the service it might give others.”

The idea that a business should give its customers more than a product for a price is not new, and history proves it creates both good businesses and good customers. Good relations between an industrial employer and his employees, however, are not very old as history goes. This is natural enough when we consider that enterprises which employ people by the thousand have not been with us more than a few generations. They are a great way for the owner of the business to make money, and unfortunately many a labor force has been badly treated in the process.

In past years we have our own era of those industrial pirates who never thought of sharing with their employees the wealth their employees helped to create. While they made a great show of their money in New York, Newport or Palm Beach those men would have sneered at the idea that a society needs a large number of well-paid people who are able to buy more goods and lead better lives.

Millionaires are far more numerous today. More than five thousand new millionaires have so declared themselves on their tax returns in the last decade. Also, as I have mentioned, today’s millionaires do not seem to want the notice that rich men used to require. Most of my readers will not recognize the names of some of the present-day millionaires and multimillionaires I have cited.

Nor do today’s moneyed men seem anxious to form a definite class to which the poor may not aspire. I quote Arthur Decio, who made so much money in building and selling mobile homes: “It’s easier to get ahead than it was fifteen or forty years ago. Look at the population growth and the tremendous rise in personal income . . . . This country is just loaded with opportunities.”

So it is, and many of the opportunities would not exist if wealth were not better distributed than it used to be. Employers have seen the value to themselves, to their people and to society of taking workers into partnership with industry. A capitalist society proves over and over that it is the best way to create maximum, widespread wealth.Source: Grow Rich! With Peace of Mind. 1967. Fawcett Crest. Pgs. 80 & 81.

Let me ask you….when you pay your bills do think of it as “circulating wealth” or is it a burden and something you don’t look forward to? By shifting our perspective from spending money to circulating wealth our personal success will be dramatically affected.

This shift does take mental strength and practice and when this mindset is mastered you will actually feel the difference.  You’ll feel it when you pay for groceries, gas and even going out to eat.  When you think of these a means for circulating wealth, wealth will return to you.

Let me know your thoughts about this in the comments below.

Excellent Results Begins With Excellent Thinking

Purpose of this tip:

To assist you in improving your beliefs regarding the manifestation of money, abundance and personal success – and to remove any limiting beliefs around the wealth creation process.

Getting Started:

We’re going delve into your core beliefs about money, personal success and abundance.  This “coaching session” is designed specifically to uncover and clear a huge area of doubt and confusion around money and abundance.  It will also help in clearing any limiting mindset, which might be holding you back from achieving your complete person success and peak potential.  The intent of this post is to assist you in gaining clarity around money, success and abundance; this clarity will have a direct impact on every other area of your life as well.

It is crucial that you take time to contemplate the questions and then write down the answers.  If you haven’t done so yet, you might want to start a journal for these “sessions.”

As I mentioned in my last post – Mental Strength Tip #1 – these “coaching session” are going to take place over the next months.  So recording the questions and your answers will help in creating the mental strength required for personal development, personal success and peak performance.

Write these questions in your journal and then contemplate them and write you HONEST answers.

Mental Training Questions to Uncover Beliefs about Money:

  • What is your philosophy on success and making money?
  • Is success and making money easy or difficult?
  • Why do the rich get richer and the poor get poorer?

Possible Limited Beliefs on Abundance and Wealth

(Do any of these sound familiar or similar to your existing thoughts?)

  • I’ll wreck my personal life I attempt to become wealthy
  • Rich and successful people are snobs, crooks and connivers.
  • I don’t care that much about making a lot of money.

Suggested Supportive and Empowering Beliefs on Abundance and Wealth

(These would be beliefs to install and replace any limiting financial beliefs)

  • Achieving success and making money is fun and easy.
  • I deserve success, abundance and wealth.
  • My results are tied directly to my thoughts and to have success, abundance and wealth I think empowering and supportive thoughts about success, abundance and wealth.

Mental Strength Questions

  • Do you feel you know all about abundance and money?  Have you head all this before?  Then if you’re so “smart” and “know that” why aren’t you more successful and living the life you TRULY desire?
  • Who do you listen to about money?
    • Financial experts or wealth and abundant people?
    • Do they have what you desire?
  • What is stopping you from becoming financially free? (by honestly answering this question, your limiting beliefs will surface to the top)

Questions to Ponder

  • Are you really interested in becoming financially free and independent?
  • What would you need to change in your thinking to achieve more success and create more wealth and abundance?
  • How would you build a personal success team of mentors to help you become more abundant, successful and wealth?

Coaching Success:

Most people have a low financial net worth. We know the root cause of this is limited and non-supportive thinking and beliefs. The masses will deny they even care about money.  The objective here is to get you thinking about personal success, peak performance and how they relate to money and abundance. In addition I want you to look at your beliefs about wealthy people.  After all, if you want to be wealthy and you think the wealthy are dishonest, scam artist or any other similar disempowering thought, how will you be able to achieve wealth with these types of thoughts holding you back?

Money is one of the most misunderstood and maligned concepts in history.  The beliefs your hold will not change overnight…be patient.   This session is to uncover the limiting beliefs and change them with supportive and empowering thoughts and ideas that will turn into beliefs….remember one step at time.

It would probably be well worth it to review this session weekly for awhile then monthly and then quarterly.  Each repetition will uncover new thoughts and beliefs.

If you’d like some one-on-one coaching around this subject, please Contact Me.

Let me hear from you, what are your thoughts on money in the comments below.
