4 Financial Habits Of Peak Performers

This is the fourth installment on the habits of peak performers.  The first post discussed the mental habits, thefinancial habit second discussed the emotional habits and the third discussed the physical habits of peak performers.

In this post I’ll go over not one financial habit, but four financial habits of peak performers.

Financial Habit #1. Dollar Sense:

  • Spend money on capital goods or consumer goods, peak performers choose capital goods.
  • In the short term, the more they invest in capital goods, less they can spend on consumer goods.
  • In the long term, the more they spend on consumer goods the less they can invest in capital goods.
  • Use the return on capital goods investment to purchase consumer goods.
  • Delayed gratification.

Financial Habit #2. Financial Control:

  • Budget where each dollar goes and what it will return.
  • Knows there is no get rich quick scheme.
  • Wealth takes dedication, mental strength, constant and persistent action.
  • Increase revenue and lower expenses.

 Financial Habit #3. Career Security:

  • Understands the free enterprise system, return on investment.
  • If an employee, understands that they are “capital goods” and need to produce a return for the investment.
  • Always looks for way to return more on the investment then others, i.e. $10 return for every $1 in pay.
  • They will always be in demand.

Financial Habit #4. Law of Compensation:

  • Whatever they give, they believe they will receive back multiplied…and they do.
  • They donate time, money and energy to a cause they deem worthwhile without hesitation.
  • Goes with the flow of the natural law and prospers effortlessly.
